Navigating Tickmark
Tickmark’s layout has two anchors: a collapsible sidebar for moving between modules, and a header with global search, quick actions, and your messages.
The Sidebar
The sidebar stays collapsed to icons and expands when you hover over it. Prefer it always open? Click “Pin sidebar” at the bottom (and “Unpin sidebar” to collapse it again).
Navigation is grouped into sections:

Settings sits at the bottom of the sidebar, next to the pin control.
Items appear only when your workspace plan enables that module — if your plan doesn’t include CRM, the whole Sales section is hidden. Activity and Settings are always available.
Recent Items
A Recent list under the navigation shows the projects and leads you last opened, so you can jump back with one click.
Unread Badge
The Activity item shows a red badge with your unread notification count. See Notifications.
Global Search (Cmd/Ctrl+K)
Click the Search… button in the header or press Cmd+K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows) to open the command palette. Type at least two characters to search across Projects, Tasks, Leads, Deals, Clients, Contacts, Team Members, Enquiries, Files, and Folders — results are grouped by type, and a Recent group surfaces what you touched last.
The palette is also a launcher:
- Navigation — jump straight to any page (Projects, Work Mode, Tasks, Leads, Sales Pipeline, Files, Billing, and more)
- Quick Actions — “Create new project”, “Create new task”, “Add new lead”
Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to select, and Esc to close.
The Header
Alongside search, the header gives you:
- Quick Task — create a task from anywhere
- Messages — a dropdown with your conversations, unread counts, and a search box; click a conversation to open it in a floating chat, or “View All” to open the full Messages page
- Theme toggle — switch between light and dark mode
Profile Dropdown
Click your avatar in the top-right corner:
- Profile — your personal settings
- My organization — update your organization’s name and logo
- Team — manage team members
- Settings — workspace settings
- Log out — sign out of Tickmark
