Timer
Track time in real-time with a floating timer widget that stays visible as you work.
Starting a Timer
Choose What to Track
Select a task or project to link the time entry to.
Start the Timer
Click the ▶ Start button. The floating timer widget appears.
Work
The timer runs in the background. The floating widget shows elapsed time in the corner of your screen.
Pause / Resume
Use ⏸ Pause to take a break without stopping the entry. Click ▶ Resume to continue.
Stop and Save
Click ⏹ Stop to end the timer. The time entry is automatically saved and linked to the selected task or project.
Floating Timer Widget
The floating timer widget:
- Stays on screen regardless of which page you navigate to
- Shows current elapsed time
- Provides Pause, Resume, and Stop controls
- Displays the linked task or project name
Only one timer can run at a time. Starting a new timer will prompt you to stop or discard the current one.
Starting from a Task
You can also start a timer directly from any task detail page — click the timer icon next to the task name. The time will automatically link to that task.
