Sub-Projects
Organize complex work by nesting projects within a parent project.
What Are Sub-Projects?
Sub-projects let you create a parent-child hierarchy of projects. This is useful for:
- Breaking a large initiative into phases
- Organizing work by department or deliverable
- Managing client projects with multiple workstreams
Creating a Sub-Project
- Create a new project (or open an existing one)
- In the project settings, select a Parent Project
- The project now appears nested under the parent in the project list
How It Works
- Sub-projects have their own boards, tasks, members, and budgets
- The parent project’s list view shows all sub-projects
- You can navigate between parent and child projects
- Each sub-project is independently managed

| Client Engagement | Parent: “Client XYZ” → Children: “Phase 1”, “Phase 2”, “Phase 3” |
| Product Launch | Parent: “Product Launch” → Children: “Marketing”, “Engineering”, “QA” |
