Custom Project Statuses
Define your own project status lifecycle to match your organization’s workflow.
Default Statuses
Tickmark comes with 5 default project statuses:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Not Started | Project has not begun |
| In Progress | Work is actively happening |
| On Hold | Project is paused |
| Completed | Project is finished |
| Cancelled | Project has been cancelled |
Creating Custom Statuses
- Go to project status settings
- Click “Add Status”
- Enter the status name
- Choose a color
- Set the position (order in the lifecycle)
- Save
Managing Statuses
- Reorder — Drag to change the order
- Edit — Update name or color
- Delete — Remove a status (reassign projects using it first)
