Kanban Board
Each project comes with a powerful Kanban board for managing tasks visually. Drag and drop tasks through your workflow stages.
Default Columns
Every new project board starts with 4 default columns:
| Column | Purpose |
|---|---|
| To Do | Tasks waiting to be started |
| In Progress | Tasks currently being worked on |
| Review | Tasks awaiting review |
| Done | Completed tasks |
Managing Columns
- Add columns — Click ”+” to add new columns
- Rename columns — Click the column title to edit
- Set colors — Assign colors to each column for visual distinction
- Reorder columns — Drag column headers to rearrange
- Delete columns — Remove columns (tasks will need to be moved first)
Drag and Drop
Drag task cards between columns to update their status. The status change is saved immediately and logged in the activity timeline.
WIP Limits
Set Work-in-Progress (WIP) limits on columns to prevent overloading:
- Click the column settings
- Set the maximum number of tasks allowed
- When the limit is reached, the column is visually highlighted
- You can still add tasks, but you’ll see a warning
WIP limits help teams focus on completing work before starting new tasks — a key principle of lean and agile methodologies.
Multi-Board Support
Create multiple boards within a single project for different aspects of work:
- Click “Boards” to view all boards
- Click “New Board” to create another board
- Switch between boards using the board selector
- Each board has its own columns and layout
- Migrate tasks between boards when needed
Quick Add Tasks
Add tasks directly from the board:
- Click the ”+” button at the bottom of any column
- Type the task name
- Press Enter — the task is created in that column
- Click the task card to add more details
