Key Features

Task Bars

Each task appears as a horizontal bar on the timeline:

  • Bar length shows the task duration (start date to due date)
  • Color coding indicates task status or priority
  • Tasks without dates are listed separately

Drag to Update Dates

Click and drag task bars to reschedule:

  • Drag the bar — Move the entire task to new dates
  • Drag the edges — Extend or shorten the task duration
  • Changes are saved automatically

Dependency Arrows

Dependency relationships between tasks are shown as arrows connecting task bars:

  • See which tasks block or are blocked by others
  • Dependencies are automatically updated when tasks are moved
  • See Task Dependencies for more on dependencies

Critical Path

The critical path highlights the sequence of tasks that determine the minimum project duration. Any delay in a critical path task delays the entire project.

Toggle critical path highlighting to see which tasks you can’t afford to delay.

Export
