Direct Messages

Send private messages to individual team members.

Starting a Conversation

1. Click Messaging in the sidebar (or open the floating chat)
2. Click “New Message”
3. Search for and select a team member
4. Type your message and hit Enter

Conversation List

Your recent conversations appear in the sidebar:

• Unread indicators — Bold text and badge for unread messages
• Last message preview — See the most recent message
• Online status — Green dot for online team members

Message Features

All chat features are available in direct messages:

• Rich text and emoji
• File attachments
• @mentions
• Reactions
• Link previews
