Chat Features

Rich messaging features available in both direct messages and group chats.

Reactions

React to any message with emoji:

• Hover over a message → click the reaction picker
• Add one or more reactions
• See who reacted by hovering the reaction

@Mentions

Tag team members to notify them:

• Type @ followed by a name to mention someone
• Mentioned users receive a notification
• In group chats, use @all to notify everyone

Threading

Reply to specific messages to keep discussions organized:

• Click “Reply” on any message
• The reply appears as a thread linked to the original
• Thread participants are notified of new replies

File Attachments

Share files directly in chat:

• Click the paperclip icon or drag-and-drop
• Files are uploaded and stored in File Management
• Preview images and documents inline

Link Previews

URLs shared in chat automatically expand to show:

• Page title and description
• Thumbnail image (when available)

Emoji & Rich Text

• Full emoji picker
• Text formatting (bold, italic, code blocks)
