External Share Links
Generate secure shareable links to share files with people outside your workspace — clients, vendors, or partners.
Creating a Share Link
Select a File
Right-click a file or click the share icon.
Click “Create External Link”
Configure Security Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Password Protection | Require a password to access the file |
| Expiry Date | Link expires after a set date |
| Download Limit | Maximum number of downloads allowed |
| Domain Restrictions | Only allow access from specific email domains |
Generate Link
Click Generate to create the shareable URL.
Share
Copy the link and share it via email, messaging, or any channel.
Managing External Links
View all active external links:
- See access count and remaining downloads
- Revoke a link at any time
- Update security settings on existing links
External links bypass workspace permissions. Always use appropriate security settings (password, expiry, domain restrictions) for sensitive files.
